

Lawrence “Larry” Robert Kauffman, Jr. age 61, of Gadsden, Alabama passed away on Friday, January 05, 2024. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024 at 12:30pm at Collier-Butler Chapel.
Rev. L. Dale Butler will officiate. Burial will follow at Rainbow Memorial Garden.
Larry was born in Dayton, Ohio and moved to Alabama in 1976. Larry began his career in plastic injection molding working with his father and uncles while in high school. His greatest passion was his work. He took great pride in 3D Modeling and Programing for CNC machines.
He and his brother went into business; he designed and built fishing lure molds for the top companies in the world. His programming and machining talents then transitioned into the hot rod industry when he went to work with Johnson Hot Rod Shop team. Larry helped design, create programs and machine custom one off parts for hot rods and racecars. He took great pride in his work and was a very talented perfectionist. Outside of work, he enjoyed fishing and watching Alabama football. Larry was very loved by his family and friends; he will be greatly missed. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence R. Kauffman; Sister, Lorraine Mims; and niece, Brittany Millican.
He is survived by his mother, Rose Kauffman; Sisters, Deanna Murphree,
Kelly (Jeff) Summerlin, and Debbie Millican.

Nieces, Ashley Millican, Kayla Ott, Jenna Millican, Allison Moore;
Nephews, Michael Millican, and Ryan Summerlin;
Great nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Pallbearers will be Logan Moore, Justin Ott, Michael Millican, Jeff Summerlin, Ryan Summerlin, and Gabriel Murphree.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, January 12, 2024 from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. prior to the service at Collier-Butler Funeral Home.
