Layne "L.B." Bryan Jr.

Funeral services for Mr. Layne “L.B.” Bryan, 41, of Springville, will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 20, 2014, at Collier-Butler Chapel. Rev. Brian McElroy will officiate with burial to follow at Crestwood Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services directing.

He was born March 6, 1973, in Etowah County. He graduated in 1991 from Etowah High School. After graduating from high school, L.B. became involved in the restaurant industry working at Applebee’s in Gadsden and Trussville, where he later became manager.

L.B. is preceded in death by his grandparents, Earnest and Wilma Minshew; and uncle, David Mishew.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry Bryan; son, Daniel Layne “Danny” Bryan; father and mother, Jimmy and Freida Bryan; brothers, Jason (Holly) Bryan, and Kevin Bryan; sister, Andrea Bryan; and six nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Lewis, Michael McElroy, Chris Robinson, Dewayne Goss, Jason Smith, and Kevin Bryan

Honorary pallbearers will be his many close friends.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at Collier-Butler Funeral Home.
