Linda Gail (Walden) Fuhrman passed away on Friday, June 11, 2021. Visitation will be at Collier-Butler on Monday, June 14, 2021 from 4 - 6 p.m. Funeral Service will follow at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel. Brother Larry Fuhrman will officiate. A private burial will take place at Crestwood Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements
First and Foremost, Linda is a Child of God. She attended John S. Jones, Etowah High School, and The University of Alabama. She retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. Linda lived life to the fullest. Traveling was her favorite hobby. She and Jim L. traveled 49 states and Canada in their RV. She was a member of Coosa Valley Chapter 551 of the Order of the Eastern Star and The Masonic Family Camping Club (NCT).
She was preceded in death by her parents, Buck (C.C.) and Catherine Walden; father and mother in law, Burgess and Hazel Fuhrman; brother and sister in law, Gerald and Betty Fuhrman; and nephew, Duane Fuhrman.
She is survived by her husband, Jim L. Fuhrman; son, Tim (Angie) Fuhrman; daughters, Pamela Fuhrman Stowers (Michael) Nix and Kim (Terry Payton) Fuhrman; grandchildren, Jaymon Shea (Holly) Stowers and Hannah Fuhrman; brother, Wayne (Sharon) Walden; sister in laws, Donna Walden and Cheryl Fuhrman Ledbetter (Gary) Edmondson; brother in law; Larry (Margarette) Fuhrman; special friend, Mary Pollard; and travel buddies and extended family; Roger and Sally Simmons.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be John S. Jones Junior High School friends and her many fellow campers.
