Logene Allred Brugge

Funeral service for Mrs. Logene Allred Brugge, 85, will be Saturday, January 23, 2016, 12:30 p.m. Collier Butler Chapel. Father Marcus Voss will be officiating. Burial will follow in Forrest Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Brugge passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2016. Survivors include her sons, Steven Carl Brugge (Joan) of Trussville, AL, and William Gregory Brugge (Kelly), of Fort Mill, S.C.; grandchildren, Lauren Wells (Ryan), of Trussville, AL, Eric Brugge (Brandi) of Homewood, AL, Will Brugge of Charleston, S.C., and Ben Brugge of Charleston S.C.; great grandchildren, Madeline Wells and Lucy Wells of Trussville, AL, and Ford Brugge of Homewood, AL; and Kathryne Brugge. Mrs. Brugge was a longtime resident of Gadsden but had been residing in Anniston since 2001. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Hubert Carl Brugge and sisters, Mrs. Fay Schroeder, Mrs. Opal Dunston, and Mrs. Marie Fink. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
