Mamie Brown passed away on Friday, March 18, 2016, after suffering from an illness. She was preceded in death by her husband and youngest son. She is survived by her oldest son and his wife; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a sister; and a brother and sister-in-law; nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed. Memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday at Collier-Butler Chapel. Rev. L. Dale Butler will officiate. Burial will follow in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Southside. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the service. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
