Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2015 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Marie Dover, 87, of Gadsden, who passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2014. Bro. J.T. Harrell and Rev. Larry Fuhrman will officiate. Entombment will be at Forrest Mausoleum. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
Mrs. Dover was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Gadsden.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Frances Johnson, and Hazel Brown; brothers, Louie Johnson, and Edward Johnson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Ray H. Dover; daughter, Pamela Parrish; grandchildren, Christine (David) Palmer, Stephen Parrish; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Gadsden.
