Mrs. Pendley was born June 27, 1932 (weighing 2 lbs. @ birth) to Alma Gertrude McDonald Smith and Jeffrey Richard Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband of 57 years, Walter Eugene Pendley, her precious sisters, Flora Meeks, Effie Edwards and Eloise Mostella, brothers, Ralph Smith and Wilburn Smith. Her passion in life was her family. She enjoyed traveling, camping, dancing, making crafts, sewing, quilting and going to craft fairs and shows. In her younger years, she managed several restaurants in the area. When she and her husband retired, they loved to travel in their motor homes with their family. Mother’s greatest joy was cooking and she was the best! Throughout her life, she was a precious caregiver to anyone in need. She would cook special meals to take to the sick and disabled. She would also buy toys for children at Christmas who would otherwise, would not have Christmas. She visited nursing homes taking food and items to the elderly that didn’t have families. She was the most caring, compassionate, selfless woman ever known. She always put God, her family and others first. She loved caring for others and she loved them wholeheartedly. Her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her greatest blessing in life. She is survived by her beloved children, Ricky Eugene Pendley, Roger Dale Pendley and Rhonda Renea Pendley Parrish (Grover), her precious grandchildren, Mary Rhianna Laine Schwarts Seabrooke (Matthew), Haley Suzanna Rhyan Schwartz Vinyard (Ethan), her precious great grandchildren, Alaina Renea Seabrooke, Matthew Grayson Seabrooke and Warren Isaac Vinyard, step grandchildren, Amy Clough (Jon) and family, Shannon Parrish and Family, special brothers-in-law, Ronald Mostella and Charles Pendley (Betty) and a host of nieces and nephews.
