Mary J. Fields

Funeral service will be 1pm Thursday, May 10, at Collier Butler Chapel for Mary Janice Field, age 94, of Gadsden who passed away May 6, 2018. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Collier Butler Funeral Home will direct services.

Mrs. Fields was a longtime resident of Gadsden and a member of East Gadsden Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband Baxter Fields; daughter Paula Overstreet; and brother Thomas Brown.

She is survived by her son Robert (Edna) Fields; son In Law James Overstreet; grandchildren Cameron (Amanda) Fields, Heather (Greg) Hendry, Lesley (Bill) Garrett, and Chris (Beth) Overstreet; great grandchildren Harrison Garrett and James Overstreet; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 11:30 until the hour of service.
