Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Crestwood Cemetery for Mary Faye Helms, age 88, of Gadsden, who passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016. Rev. Roger Graham will officiate. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
Mrs. Helms was a lifelong member of Bellevue Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Helms.
Mrs. Helms is survived by her daughters, Gloria Ann Morrison and Jennie Howell; son, Greg Helms; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Georgia Jolley; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bellevue Baptist Church.
Special thanks to the nurses and staff of Gadsden Healthcare, especially the Activities Director; the staff of Southern Care Hospice; and Nurse, Robin Bolin.
There will be no visitation.
