Mary Ann LeCroy

Mary Ann LeCroy, 71, of Gadsden, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, November 24, 2014. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Collier-Butler Chapel. Dr. Levan Parker will officiate. Burial will be at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.

Mary Ann served as the nursery coordinator at West End Baptist Church for many years. She then became very involved in youth activities and ministries. Mary Ann retired from Gadsden City Schools after 23 years of service. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, John and Johnnie Ray Wood; four brothers; and two sisters.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Larry LeCroy; son, Michael LeCroy; daughter, Cathy (Jeff) Colegrove; grandsons, Adam Colegrove, Nathan Colegrove, and Blake LeCroy; sister, Cornelia Neese; and a host of nephews and nieces.

Pallbearers will be: Adam Colegrove, Larry Ballard, Tommy Lindsey, Bonney Grambling, Larry Phillips, and Sonny Kidd.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Jeff Colegrove, Nathan Colegrove, Michael LeCroy, and Blake LeCroy.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Gadsden Regional Medical Center SICU Staff.

Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
