Mary "Katherine" (Mintz) Williams

Mary “Katherine” (Mintz) Williams, age 93, of Gadsden, AL passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2025. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Collier-Butler Funeral Home. The family will accept friends from 1:00 pm until the hour of the service at the funeral home.

Katherine was a Christian who loved the Lord with all her heart. Her love also poured into her family, especially her grandchildren. She was known for her love of flowers and birds. She had a true green thumb and could save any plant. She will be deeply missed by many family members and friends.

Katherine was preceded in death by her husband, Dillard Russel Williams; parents, Johnnie Clayton Mintz and Mattie Lou Campbell Mintz; daughter, Kathy Louise Williams; granddaughter, Kathryn Dilar Wells; great-granddaughter, Loralea Faith Williams; and son-in-law, William “Billy” Wells.

She is survived by her children, Randy C. Williams, Brenda Wells, Terry (Coni) Williams, Brad (Lorraine) Williams, and Lori Williams; grandchildren, Randy L. Williams, Laura Long, Courtney (Chris) Pantelis, Nick (Emily) Williams, Joe (Misty) Williams, Ashley (Andrew) Ledford, Josh Williams, and Amber Williams; and 11 great-grandchildren.
