

Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Collier-Butler Funeral Chapel for Maxine “Mac Mac” Hemrick, 86, of Gadsden who passed away Friday, September 16, 2016. Phillip Black, Minister will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services directing. Mrs.. Hemrick was a native of Marshall County and a longtime resident of Etowah County. She was a member of Central Church of Christ. Mrs. Hemrick was retired from Gadsden State Community College as an office manager and had been affiliated with the radio station there. She was preceded in death by her husband; Henry Joe Hemrick and sisters; Virginia Brown and Euverla Kerr. Survivors include her sons; Dan (Lucy) Hemrick and Mark (Tammy Hemrick, grandchildren; Matt (Rebecca) Hemrick, Julie Thomason, Jennifer (Dustin) Tanner, Miranda Jones, Stephanie Boatwright and Kelsey Hemrick, 8 great grandchildren, 1 niece and several nephews.Pallbearers will be Matt Hemrick, Isiah Boatwright, Steve Kerr, Randy Powell, Tim Black, Jr. and Tim Black, Sr.
