Michael "Brian" Johnson

A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Collier-Butler Funeral Chapel for Michael “Brian” Johnson, 44, of Rainbow City, AL who passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022. Pastor Donny Mooney will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Collier-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services. Brian was an outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing. He enjoyed watching football, especially when Auburn was playing. Preceding him in death was his father, Mike Johnson, grandparents, Harvey and Margaret Johnson, Ralph and Mable Walker and aunt, Patricia Farrow. Survivors include his mother, Kathy Walker Johnson, brothers, Keith (Michelle) Johnson and Adam (Lindsey) Johnson, nieces and nephews, Destini (Fisher) Simmons, Rebecca Johnson, Blake Johnson, Walker Johnson and Cohen Johnson, great niece Hattie Simmons, uncles, Jim (Julie) Walker, Ralph Farrow, Steve Johnson and Danny Johnson, Aunts, Regina Walker and Donna Johnson and a host of extended family. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made in Brian’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 1100 Ireland Way, Birmingham, AL 35205.
