Jay graduated from Southside High School in 1981. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis LaRue Daniels; and his father, James Marion Daniels.
He is survived by his mother, Jerilyn Junkins Creed, Southside; daughter, Jesse Larue Daniels; grandson, Hudson Daniels; brothers, Jeffery Alan Daniels (Amie), Huntsville, Jon David Daniels (Amanda), Gadsden, and Joseph Wade Daniels (Amanda), Gadsden; aunt, Sybil Junkins Leavell, Fort Payne; and several other aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite charity .
