Graveside services will be at 2 pm Wednesday October 22nd, 2025, at Hillsboro Memorial Cemetery, in Hillsboro, TN. for Mildred Lousie Harris Crownover of Gadsden, who died Friday, October 17th of 2025. Minister Chris Gallagher of Gadsden Church of Christ will officiate. Collier Butler Funeral Home will direct.
Mrs. Crownover was a native of Tullahoma Tennessee, and a longtime resident of Etowah County. She graduated from Tullahoma, Tennessee High School and University of Alabama. She was an interior decorator, and housekeeper. She loved to entertain, and travel abroad. She volunteered at the Holy Name of Jesus Hospital. She was a member of Gadsden Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Kenneth Andrew Crownover, her sister Mary Elizabeth (Betty) Gray, her brother William Vannoy (Buck) Harris Jr., her mother, Effie Gibbs Harris, and her father William Vannoy Harris Sr.
She is survived by her son, Danny Crownover of Gadsden; brother Robert Lee Harris of Austin, TX, and many over relatives and friends in both Tennessee and Alabama.
