Mildred F. Cornelius

Mildred is survived by her daughter, Tina Robin Cavanah (Kage), of Birmingham; son, Denton Scot Cornelius( Jennifer), Florence; grandchildren Krissee Sweitzer (David), Ian Cavanah, Aidan Cavanah, Kyle Cornelius, Kate Cornelius; and great grandchildren Alex, Rowan and Holden Sweitzer.

Mildred was preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Jackie Cornelius.

A resident of Florence, AL, Mildred was a member of Highland Baptist Church. Mildred was the comptroller at WOWL TV where she retired after thirty years of service. After her retirement, she served as a hospital volunteer at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital. Mildred enjoyed spending time with her friends and especially her cherished family.

Visitation and funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 29th, at Collier-Butler Funeral home in Gadsden, AL. Visitation will be at 10:30 with the funeral service immediately following at 11:00.
