Graveside Services will be at 10:00 a.m. today, Wednesday-October 13, 2010 at Forrest Cemetery for Mrs. Muriel T. Fortson, age 94 of Gadsden who passed away Friday-October 8, 2010. Rev. Carrie Cramer will officiate . Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services Directing. Mrs. Fortson was a native of Blount County where she attended the Wynville Methodist Church. She was a longtime resident of Etowah County and preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Fortson. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Mary Tuck and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to any favorite charity. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff at McGuffey Health Care Center, Lawley Premier Hospice and Rodney Ward. There will be no visitation.
