Myra Jo (Ellison) Johnston, age 92, of Gadsden, Alabama passed away on Saturday February 22, 2020. Myra was born February 6, 1928.

Myra is survived by her daughter Vickie (Johnny) Adams; Granddaughters Christi ( Deborah Colburn) Copeland and Emily ( Corey) Waldrep; great grand children Parker Colburn and Kinsleigh Waldrep; sister Bonnie Brooks (Morris); Special Friend Joyce Williams; and many other family members and dear neighbors.

Myra was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Johnston; daughter Paula Knight; and her brother Carl Ellison.

A funeral service for Myra will be held Monday, February 3, 2020 at 2:00 PM, with visitation prior from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Burial will be at Altoona Walnut Grove Cemetery. Pastor Mark Gidley will officiate and Collier Butler Funeral Home will direct services.
