Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2011 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Mrs. Nancy C. Hall Burns, age 69 of Glencoe who passed away Monday, March 23, 2011. Revs. Eric Reaves and David Denson will officiate with burial at Forrest Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services Directing. Mrs. Burns was a native of Tennessee and a longtime resident of Etowah County. She was a member of North Glencoe Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry G. Burns and parents, J. W. and Maulene Caddell. She is survived by her children, Cindy (Scott) Swann, Cheryl Hall, Sharon Hall (Matthew) Wyant, Alex Caddell, Tony and Jesse Burns, grandchildren, Adam (Laura) Swann, Megan (Josh) Davis, Emily Jarrells, Derick Newton and Nikita Wyant; great grandchildren, Everett and Miles Davis. Pallbearers will be family and friends. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Harvestfield Church, Ethiopian Adoption Fund, 4533 Rainbow Drive, Rainbow City, AL 35906-9291, (256)442-9361. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
