Mrs. Nancy Payne Humphries

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011, at Collier-Butler Chapel for Mrs. Nancy Payne Humphries, 63, Rainbow City, who went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Sept. 25, 2011. Bro. Rodney Prickett will officiate with burial at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services will direct.

Mrs. Humphries was born on September 22, 1948, and was a loving wife, sister and aunt. She was a lifelong member of Riddles Bend Baptist Church and the Joy Sunday School class. Her parents, J.P. and Willie V. Payne, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Raymond Humphries; brothers, Charles and Faye Payne and Kenneth and Kay Payne, both of Rainbow City; nieces, Kelly and Russell Taylor, Tammy Amos, Amy and Mike Beavers; nephews, Ronald, Michael and Jeff Payne; great-nieces, Sally and Kelsey; great-nephews, Jackson, Chase, Logan and Jakob.

Pallbearers will be Frank Vann, Dennis Bone, Terry John Calhoun Jr., Wayne Calhoun, Bobby McCartney and Andy Caudle.

The family extends a special thanks to Dr. Parmer, Dr. Sengar and staff.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 this evening and from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Collier-Butler.
