

Norah Lee Edwards, age 82, of Rainbow City, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, June 11, 2023 at Collier-Butler Funeral Home. Pastor, Joe Dismuke will officiate. Burial will be at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Family will accept friends from 12:00-2:00 pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Edwards attended Gadsden High School. She enjoyed doing Word Search puzzles, playing Solitaire on her phone and watching TV game shows. In addition to being a Dollywood Ambassador she attended senior dances at the Broad Street Senior Center and looked forward to attending the National Quartet Convention with her best friend and "sister", Pat. Norah was an amazing homemaker and wife.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Doug Edwards; father, William Garttell Griffin; mother, Myrtle Russell Griffin; sisters, Lucille Gipson, Imogene Bishop and twin sister, Clara Vee Griffin; and brother, Acton Griffin.
Mrs. Edwards is survived by her daughters, Theresa Edwards, and Sheila Edwards Wall (Jeff); Grandchildren, Brandon Harris (Lori), Trissa Harris Bearden; Savannah Wall Cole (Billy), and Scott Wall; great-grandchildren, Gage NeSmith, John William Harris, Bailey Harris, Olivia Cole, Liam Cole, Isaiah, Allissa; special sister and lifetime best friend, Pat Garmon; adopted Louisiana grandson, Chris Chaisson, special friends, Mark Waite, the Dollywood gang; and numerous nieces, nephews,family members, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Harris, Scott Wall, Jeff Wall, Billy Cole, Mark Nash, John William Harris, and Tim Cole.
Honorary pallbearers are Chris Chaisson and Mark Waite.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
