Pat Wiggonton

February 10, 1955April 5, 2021

Mrs. Pat Wiggonton, 66, of Gadsden passed away Monday, April 5, 2021. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Collier-Butler Funeral Chapel with Dr. Rodney Gilmore officiating. Burial will follow at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Services are under the direction of Collier-Butler Funeral Home. Mrs. Wiggonton had worked with the Child Advocacy Center, as well as serving as a board member. She later worked with The Gadsden Times as Life and Times Editor and was the owner and operator of Willow Productions. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dave Wiggonton; infant daughter, Tamara Wiggonton; mother, Mable Doris Perdue; father, Hubert Clea Griffin and brother, Ricky Van Griffin. Survivors include her son, Adam Wiggonton; sisters, Vickie (Allen) Denton and Joan (Tyler) Haas; brothers, Andy (Christina) Griffin and David Griffin and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be; Allen Denton; Tyler Haas; David Griffin; Andy Griffin; Rick Fann and Allen Millican. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff with Comfort Care Hospice and UAB Hospital. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Comfort Care Hospice, 600 Broad Street, Suite 301, Gadsden, AL 35901. Visitation will be Thursday from 9 am until the hour of service at 11:a.m. at the funeral home.
