Patricia Ann Dauner Gross

Memorial Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 20, 2012 at Rainbow Presbyterian Church for beloved wife, mother and grandmother Mrs. Patricia Ann Gross, 82, Rainbow City who passed away Friday, August 17, 2012. Revs. Robbie Hendrick and Lee Clower will officiate. Cremation Services provided by Collier-Butler Funeral Home.

Mrs. Gross was born July 22, 1930 in Davenport, Iowa. She was a graduate of Springfield High School Class of 1948 and she attended the University of Illinois. She was a member of Rainbow Presbyterian Church, Springfield Junior League, Maritime Museum, Kings Daughters, RODEO Girls and was an avid fisherman, hunter and golfer. Mrs. Gross was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Gross and brother, Robert K. Dauner.

Survivors include her sons, Steven R. (Kathy) Gross and John (Shari) Gross, grandchildren, Stephanie A. Gross, Matthew J. Gross and Shannon Gross, sisters-in-law, Helen Marie Sisler, brother-in-law, Dean Chance, several nieces and nephews, loving canine companion Coco, and special friend, Frank Nelch.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Rainbow Presbyterian Church, Tanzania Ministry, 3220 Rainbow Drive, Gadsden, AL 35901.
