Pauline Jane Thompson

Pauline Jane Thompson, age 81, of Ashville, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at Gum Springs Baptist Church. Brother Chris Cornutt and Brother Jeremy Jones will officiate. Burial will follow at the adjoining cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.

Pauline was a beloved mother, grandmother and friend. She loved her church family, reading the Bible, and sewing quilts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Lucille Wilson; brother, Frank Wilson; grandson, Kyle Thompson Hanson; and husband, Claydis Thompson.

She is survived by her daughter, Pamela (Lemuel) Goss; son, Wayne (Vanessa) Thompson; grandchildren, Clay (Kayla) Goss, Madison Goss, Caleb Goss, Madeline Goss, and Dakota Hanson; and great grandson, Jackson Hanson.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Thompson, Dakota Hanson, Clay Goss, Caleb Goss, Johnny Thompson, and Doug Hanson, and members of Gum Spring Baptist Church represented by Stewart Davis and Phillip Byram.

The family will accept friends from 1:00PM until the hour of the service at the church on Sunday.
