Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Bro. Raymond Weaver, 86, of Gadsden, who passed away Sunday, October 26, 2014. Bro. Chris Gaskin will officiate. Burial will be at Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
Mr. Weaver is survived by his loyal wife of 68 years, Lillie Lipscomb Weaver; children, Linda Bailey, Clarence (Judy) Weaver, and Teresa (Joe) Watkins; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and sisters, Mary Ann (Charles) Hollingsworth, Eloise (Gene) Lipscomb, and Betty Jo Clark.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society or to the charity of your choice.
The family will accept friends from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Thursday prior to the service.
