

Robert was born in Nashville, Tennessee on March 9th, 1930 and had a twin brother, Richard Elliott who preceded him in death. Robert was one of ten children.
Robert was known as Bob or Bobby to all his friends, Mr. Bob by the entire Clubview neighborhood and Paw Paw to his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Betty Morgan Elliott.
Bob is lovingly remembered by his children, Cindy (Jeff) Archer, Bridget (Rick) Cushing and Gary Morgan; his grandchildren Amy (Shane) McGhee, Hayley (Patrick) Cooper, Katie Cushing and Sam Cushing; his great grandchildren Logan McGhee, Morgan McGhee, Lyla Weaver, Phoenix Cooper and Skyler McGhee; and his best friend and honorary son Lynn Fortenberry.
Bob was a veteran and served in the Navy during the Korean War. He retired from Motion Industries in Gadsden and went on to work at D and F Poultry in Crossville for several years.
Bob began playing golf with his brothers at a very young age and continued to love the sport his entire life. Nothing gave him more joy than spending a Sunday afternoon on the golf course.
Graveside services for family and close friends is to be held on Friday, February 12th at 12:30 at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Flowers are to be sent to Collier Butler Funeral Home.
