Robert Taylor

Robert Graduated from Alva High School in 1972. He loved fishing, diving, hunting, and being outdoors. He retired from Florida Power & Light after 32 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, two sons and 3 grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Drew Taylor, Jacob Concannon, Alex Rogers, Bryan Griner, Thomas Parker, and Zackery Smith.

Special thanks to the Enhabit Hospice nurses and aids. They were helpful. Supportive, caring and comforting which eased the last days/hours of his life. Also, to all our family-friends that have been by our sides and holding our hands during the hard times.

Those attending the graveside service are invited to wear cheerful colors, because Robert loved life.

The family will be accepting flowers. Local Florist option Fergusons phone # 256-538-9901.

There will be single roses (red, white & yellow) for those that wish to place upon his casket as a token of their love for him.

A single purple rose will be laid by his wife as it represents love at first sight.

A graveside service for Robert will be held Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Rainbow Memorial Gardens, 1440 W Grand Ave, Gadsden, Alabama 35904. Rev L. Dale Butler will officiate.

Family and friends are invited to attend a gathering at The Rose Chapel located at 5970 US Hwy 11, Atalla, AL after the service.
