

Visitation will be at the church for one hour prior to services Tuesday evening.

Bobby was a native and lifelong resident of Etowah County. He was a member of National Speleological Society, founding vice chairman charter member Gadsden Grotto, sustaining member Southeastern Cave Conservancy Inc., Bat Conservation International and Arbor Day. Bobby had a love for handicapped children, conservation, wildlife and animals. He was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine “Gerrie”Whorton and brother, Frankie P. Whorton.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to the Humane Society, local ASPCA or National Speleological Society.
The family extends a special thanks to the staff at Timberlake Pet World and precious friends and caregivers.
On Saturday July 7, 2012 from 8 am till 6 pm there will be a Bark for Bobby Benefit/Memorial at Timberlake Pet World, 3018 Rainbow Drive, Rainbow City, Al 35906. All friends and family are invited to attend. Please bring your pets.
