Ronnie Minton

A celebration of life will be at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday-October 26, 2011 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Mr. Ron Minton ,age 72 of Gadsden who went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday-October 24, 2011. Pastor Michael Knight will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery with Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services Directing.

Ron was a strong witness for the Lord and found great joy in sharing about the love of Jesus. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Exa Minton and son, Scott Minton.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years; Alice Minton, Gadsden

Son; Patrick Minton and wife Lorie, Birmingham

Daughter; Kaelaine Minton, Atlanta

Sisters: Leeta McDougald and husband Michael, Rome, GA, Doris Graham, Gadsden and Sylvia Putnam, Auburn

Brother; Roy Minton and wife Ann, Birmingham

Sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; Brenda and Charles Phillips, Gadsden and Margy Reid, Rome, GA

Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials be made to any favorite charity.

The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
