Ruby Hudson

Ruby Jewel Hudson 84, went home to the Lord, Sunday June 24, 2012. Funeral services will be Wednesday, 11 o’ clock at Collier-Butler Chapel. Collier-Butler funeral home will be directing. The Revs. Harold Adcock and Tony McGowan will officiate. Burial will be at the Lee Family Cemetery on Rainbow Drive.

Mrs. Ruby was a loving Christian lady, who was a member of New Life Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Dixie Steele, step mother Arzela Steele, husband William Hudson, son-in-law Jerry Kilgore, daughter-in-law Geneva Hudson.

She leaves behind her children David and Donald Ray Hudson, daughter Virginia Kilgore, six grandchildren Shelia(Ricky) Wood, Jason(Gwen) Hudson, Jeff Kilgore, Kelly(Shey) McElrath, Donnie(Amy) Hudson, Kevin(Amanda) Hudson. Ten great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jeff and Zack Kilgore, Donnie, Kevin, Jason Hudson, and Daniel Wood. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. A special thanks goes out to Melinda Vineyard.
