thank everyone for sharing thoughts of my dad  he was the ultimate daddy and what you saw in public was what he was in private I don't think I can remember me and dad being mad at each other or having cross words.  I adored my daddy and he taught me all I know about my lord and how to stand against the world for what was right in the sight of God even though it might not have been the popular thing to do.  I have never been ashamed of my daddy and or my heavenly father and now daddy is having an eternity of basking in the light of his savior and friend.  I guess you can tell I loved my daddy and I will see him again oh what a glorious day that will be. if you ever loved my dad or was touched by his life receive the Lord as your savior so you can enjoy his presence in heaven.  Gods blessings on each one that commented on my dad.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

As my spiritual father, I honor the legacy of Bro. Earl Davis. His gentle spirit and love for God and people have impacted the lives of many, including me. His ministry was one of wisdom and simplicity, because he wanted everyone to know the Lord. I was blessed and honored to be his spiritual son! Due to being hospitalized, I am unable to physically attend the memorial service, but my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Mrs. Davis and Family: WE LOVE YOU!

Earl Davis, what a friend, a soldier for Christ. There is not enough room to write how this man affected my life.
He taught me not to hoe the garden after a rain or the plants would rust.  
He was the first person to challenge me to read my Bible from cover to cover.  My what a blessing. 
He held a child of mine who was burned and prayed all the way to the hospital.
He would dress up like Santa, put toys in his pack and come to our home. The children loved him. He counseled us many times from the Word of God.  He never said anything negative about anyone, but prayed for them. He loved my banana pudding.  The children that has been blessed by his ability to work with them, either in church, ball or just every day life. My Son Steve said," if Earl had been alive when Jesus was on earth, He would have picked Earl for one of his disciples.
A legacy in my family's life always to be cherished.

Mrs. Davis was always kind to me.  He would let me pick his blueberry bushes every summer.  I enjoyed our conversations while he helped me pick blueberries.    I will always think of him when I eat blueberries and hopefully will continue to pick his blueberry bushes for years to come.

Mrs. Davis, I'm so sorry to hear of Bro. Earl's passing but I do delight in the fact that he is now with our Saviour! I do thank God for allowing him to lead my dad to Christ and baptizing him in the Spirit with evidence of speaking in toungues. We love you and pray your strength in the Lord!

Coach Davis was my little league team coach back in 1965, 66, and 67. He took the next to last place "Ira Phillips" team and won the league the next year. He was a great coach and teacher.

Mr Davis has been a beaming light to our family for years.  My father adored this man.  He led my father, Larry Tiller, to Christ in the early 80's.  He has been serving faithfully every since.  i am saddened by your earthly loss, but I know it is heaven's gain.  my condolences to you and your family.
