Ms. Ruth R. Bryant, age 77, formerly of Gadsden passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2012. Cremation Services provided by Collier-Butler Funeral Home. Ms. Bryant was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was employed with the South West Ambulance for a number of years. Those who preceded her in death are her son, Mike Bryant and her parents, Edward and Maude Cruse. Survivors include her daughter, Shirley (Joe) Gulledge and son, James David Bryant, grandchildren, Kim (Jamie) Langley, Jay (Monica) Gulledge, Kelli Bryant Whitten and Melissa Bryant Curry. Five great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Alzheimers Services of Marshall County. Special thanks to the staff of Alacare Hospice, Dr. Alex Nixon and Dorothy Phillips. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
