Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Forrest Cemetery for Sarah Clark Wilbanks, 93, Merritt Island Florida who passed away on May 5, 2013. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
Mrs. Wilbanks was born in Hickory, NC, on November 24, 1919. After marriage, she lived in Gadsden, AL, for 20 years and then moved to DeLand, FL. She was a member of Emanuel Presbyterian Church of DeLand, FL, the Col Arthur Erwin Chapter of DAR, and Ernst d’Erlach Chapter Huguenot Society.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Heath Wilbanks, and parents, Mr. & Mrs. Neil W. Clark, Sr.
Mrs. Wilbanks is survived by her daughters, Lila Sandstorm, Merritt Island, FL and Virginia (August) Chasey, Orange Park, FL; grandchildren: Kathryne Bryant, and Virginia (Patrick) Hayes, Cocoa FL, Susan (William) May, Jacksonville, FL, Allen ( Amy) Chasey, and Sally (Mark) Pierce, Fayetteville, GA; great-grandchildren: Patrick, Kayla and Jessica Hayes, Kate, Erin and Lindsey Chasey and Sarah and Brian Pierce.
There will be no visitation.
