Shelton D. Bartlett - 95 - of Acworth, Georgia, formerly of Gadsden, passed away on June 13, 2020. Shelton was predeceased by his parents Dewey Bartlett and Minnie Balenger Bartlett and his beloved wife, Ann Noble Bartlett, and his four brothers and sisters. He is survived by his son Roger Bartlett and wife Cheryl (Marietta, Georgia), grandson Andrew Bartlett and wife Rachel (Lawrenceville, Georgia), granddaughter Shelley Bartlett Stone and husband Seth (Jacksonville, Florida), great-grandchildren Layne Bartlett and Lindy Bartlett, sister-in-law Peggy Bartlett, brother-in-law Truman Dee Milwee, along with a number of nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
Shelton was employed at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for 44 years, retiring in 1986. He also served as pastor for several area Southern Baptist churches: Moshatt, Kyuka, Union Chapel, and South Highlands.
The family celebrated his life at a private service with interment at Forrest Cemetery.
