Susan Renea Shelton

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Collier-Butler Funeral Home for Susan Renea Foster Shelton, age 44, of Gadsden, who passed away Monday, August 28, 2017. Rev. Billy Boatwright will officiate. Burial will be at Tabor Baptist Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.

Susan was born and raised in Etowah County. She attended Etowah High School and was of the Church of God faith. Susan was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her father, Durward Foster; and grandparents, Clyde Foster and Myrtle Dowdy; and Luther Paul and Margaret White.

Susan is survived by her mother, Betty Ann Powell; husband, Tim Shelton; son, Koty (Tabitha) Shelton; daughter, Destony Shelton; grandson, Braydon Cole Shelton; granddaughter, Paisley Denise Givens; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Kasey Lankford, Corey Lankford, Wayne Boyd, Mark Meeks, Jr., Michael Floyd, and Ronald White.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 1, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home.
