Terry Camron Bates

Terry Camron Bates, 22, went to be with the Lord on July 4th, 2012, from injuries sustained in an auto accident. Funeral Services will be at Collier-Butler Funeral Chapel on Monday July 9th, 2012, at 12:30, with Zack Clay officiating. Interment will be at Tates Chapel Cemetery in Centre, Alabama immediately following. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services directing.

Terry was born to Eddie and Terri Bates on March 28th, 1990.

Terry graduated from Gadsden City High School. While attending Gadsden City, Terry was a star athlete participating in football and track. Terry was loved by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lowell Edward Bates Jr., and his grandfathers Lowell Edward Bates Sr. and Charles Michael Lawson.

. Terry leaves to cherish his memory, his mother Terri Bates, sisters Marissa (Jacob) Richards, Keisha Lawson, Leslie Bates, uncle Kevin (Angela) Bates, grandmother Annette (Roy) Workman, grandmother Patricia Bates, aunt Mitzi Bates, and a host of cherished cousins.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Richards, Josh Davis, Nick Patterson, Chris Smith, Richard McCoy, Cameron Firestone, chosen Pallbearers are Brian Davis and Tyler Hall.

Special thanks to those who administered help to Terry in his time of need, especially emergency and hospital doctors and staff. Also to the cherished friends and family.

A funeral fund has been activated at Teachers Credit Union to help with expenses.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 6-8pm Sunday, July 8th, 2012, at Collier-Butler Funeral Home.
