Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Rainbow Memorial Gardens for Thomas “Tom” Barnard, 69, of Lincoln, who passed away Thursday, July 7, 2016, Rev. Chip Broome will officiate. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
Mr. Barnard served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a truck driver for over 40 years. He was a very caring and giving person who was always helping others.
Mr. Barnard was preceded in death by his son, Scott Price; parents, Loyd and Gladys Barnard; brothers, S.G. Barnard, Robert Barnard, and James Barnard; and sisters, Juanita Lankford, and Julie Bellew.
He is survived by his wife, Aileen Barnard; sons, Tommy Barnard and Jamey Price; daughters, Laura Barnard, Beth Moody, Jenny Cain, Tracy Kent, and Tiffany Pendegraph; 14 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
There will be no visitation.
