

A graveside service will be held at Rainbow Memorial Gardens on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., with Judge Bill Weathington, Jr. officiating.
Mr. Weathington was a godly husband, father, and grandfather who cherished his family and lived a life of faith and service. A long-time member of College Heights Baptist Church in Gadsden, he and his beloved wife, Shelva, spent many years actively involved in mission work, singing in the choir, and teaching Sunday School.
He enjoyed a successful career as a retired insurance agent and realtor, and was known for his warm spirit, steadfast faith, and devotion to those around him. He will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shelva A. Weathington; brothers Billy Ray Weathington, Sr. and Harold Doyle Weathington; sister Marie McKee; father Harold Doyle Weathington, Sr.; and mother Iva Lee Lawson Weathington.
He is survived by his daughter Judy Warmath (Ken) of Huntsville; son Tom Weathington (Andrea) of Huntsville; and grandchildren William and Harrison Weathington of Birmingham and Tyler Warmath (Morgan) of Biloxi, Mississippi.
Pallbearers will be his grandchildren and nephews.
