Timothy James Griffith

A visitation will be held at Collier-Butler Funeral Home, 824 Rainbow Drive, Gadsden, AL 35901, on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Timothy will be laid to rest at Hokes Bluff Cemetery.

Timothy worked as a truck driver for many years and took great pride in his work. He had a deep love for the outdoors, especially fishing, and he was an avid Alabama football fan. Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who cherished time spent with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, Cleveland Griffith and Hazel Adams Griffith, and James Henry Daugherty and Virginia Judy Bartlett; and his brother, David Ray Griffith.

Timothy is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Griffith; his children, Kerry (Sharon) Griffith, Timothy Blake Griffith, Christopher (B.J.) McCown, Jeremy (Kelley) McCown and Amanda Campbell; grandchildren, Lauren Baker-Smith, Makayla Baker, Colton Divine, Machara Campbell, Jaylen McCown, Sarah Camo, Reid McCown, Courtney McCown, Hunter Pogue, Ruby Saylor Griffith and Arya Katherine Griffith; sisters, Tammie (Richard) Carroll and Patsy (Shawn) Saucedo; and his special fur baby, Sassy.

Timothy will be remembered for his big heart, his love for family, and the joy he brought to everyone who knew him.
