Tommy Lee Layton

Tommy Lee was born on July 2,1970 to Maxine Jenkins. He was born and raised an Attalla

boy and graduated from Etowah High School.

Tommy Lee was employed with Motion Industries where he was in distribution. Tommy Lee

and his wife Shay have a son, Trevor Layton.

Tommy Lee loved all things Nascar, Alabama football, Michelob Ultra and Jesus and not in

that order. Camping in the Mountains or on the Beach was our family thing.

Tommy played hard, worked hard, and loved hard.

Tommy Lee was a Believer and he loved Jesus. He woke up everyday with his daily verse

and spending time in prayer. There is a celebration in Heaven for sure!

He is preceded in death by his Mother Maxine Jenkins and his Father Tommy Layton. He is

survived by his wife of 26 years, Shay Layton, Son Trevor Layton(Mackenzy Alford), sister

Lisa Handy and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Hucklebearers will be Josh Morrison, Robert Morrison, Baylon Stokes, Brennan Stokes,

Ronnie Miller, Kory Oliver and Ellis Wright.

Honorary Hucklebearers are Bill Pierce, Ike Williams, Larry Lindsey and Rick Johnson.

Special thanks to the Health Care Warriors at UAB MICU who gave the best care to Tommy

Lee.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation or St. Judes

Hospital.

Graveside services will be at 2pm at Rainbow Memorial Gardens Hwy 77.

This will be a very casual ceremony just the way Tommy Lee would have wanted it to be. So

please feel free to wear Shorts, Jeans, T-shirts (Alabama was his favorite!!!)
