Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2013 at Collier-Butler Funeral Home for Troy Lee Phillips, 48, who passed away Monday, June 10, 2013. Rev. L. Dale Butler will officiate. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
Mr. Phillips was born and raised in Gadsden and graduated from Hewitt-Trussville High School in 1982. He later served in the US Army. Troy was also a pilot and avid Alabama fan. He was employed with Apex (Honda Motors Inc.) He was of the Church of Christ faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Charles and Charlotte Phillips.
He is survived by his son, Justin Phillips, and brother, Eric Phillips.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the immediate family.
The family will accept friends from 12:00-2:00 Friday, June 14, 2013 prior to the service.
