A private Graveside Service was held on Thursday, September 30, 2021 for the family
at Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery. Rev. Lauil Thompson officiated.
Mrs. Lankford was a lifelong member of Southside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Curren C. (Clacky) Lankford; parents, Evans and Ethel Burgess;
brothers, Herbert Burgess, Dennis Burgess, Lewis Burgess and Jim Burgess;
sisters, Thelma Clements and Ruby Snyder.
She is survived by her sons, Lanny (Janice) Lankford, Jeffrey (Emma) Lankford and Randy (Liz) Lankford; grandchildren, Lance Lankford, Jeremy (Rebecca) Lankford, Megan (Prem) Midha, Justin Lankford and Mark Vaughn; great grandchildren, Gracey, Carter, Josie Mae Lankford and Kiran Midha;
sister, Sue Deleshaw; brothers, Charles Burgess, Randall (Jerry) Burgess and Mack Burgess;
Sisters-in-law, Barbara Burgess and Flo Lankford. Numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southside Baptist Church.
