Graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Crestwood Cemetery for Mr. Wayne Osborne Bynum, age 75, of Gadsden, who passed away Monday, September 26, 2011. Cremation Services provided by Collier-Butler Funeral Home.
Mr. Bynum was a 1954 graduate of Gadsden High School and retired from Goodyear after 30 years. He also served in the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Sara Bynum; daughter, Cindy Bynum; and sister, Sara Jo Morris.
He is survived by his sons, Cary Bynum and Greg Bynum; sisters, Martha Gullion and Wanda Fairchild; grandchildren, Emily Carter, Amy Bynum, Brandon Bynum, Stone Bynum, Blake Bynum and Hannah Bynum and great grandchildren, Aydan and Addison Carter. He is also survived by Carol Parker.
