Wiley loved fishing, tinkering on lawnmowers, growing things in the garden, long rides, and just being outside. He was the owner/operator of Wiley’s garage in Alabama City for over 25 years. He never met a stranger and was always willing to help someone when they were in need. He loved his church family Green Valley Baptist Church of Southside, especially his little buddy Emma who always greeted him at the door every Sunday upon arrival his to the church. He had been a member for over 25 years.
Wiley was preceded in death by his parents Nathan and Vada Williams; the love of his life, Frances Snell; son, Calvin Williams, and several siblings.
He is survived by his sons, Don (Joann) Williams, Steve (Vickie) Williams, Brian Williams, Vann Williams, and chosen daughter, Linda Bishop; grandsons, Chip Childress, and Tyler Graham; chosen grandchildren, Laney and Colby Bishop; 1 great grandson Jordan Williams; several siblings,
numerous family members and friends.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to Green Valley Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be friends.
The family wishes to express special thanks to the 4th floor nurses and staff of Riverview Regional Medical Center, Gadsden Healthcare, and Encompassus Hospice, especially his nurse Brandon.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, July 03, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
