
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 11:00 am at Collier-Butler Chapel. Rev. L. Dale Butler will officiate.
Interment will follow at Rainbow Memorial Gardens.

Freddie was born on August 15, 1943 and graduated from Southside High School in 1961. He went into the Air Force and served for four years. He retired from Goodyear after 24 years of employment. He was a member of Riverview Baptist Church. Freddie loved his family, loved to fish, and had a passion for antique cars. He rebuilt a 57 Chevrolet and a 56 T-bird, but the 57 Chevy always had a special place in his heart.
Freddie is preceded in death by his parents; Elbert and Leora Rich, of Southside.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Shirley Rich; Sons: Brian (Kandi) Rich, Michael (Cindy) Rich, and Judd (Shannon) Rich. Brother: Billy (Jan) Rich; Sisters: Shirley Clough, Sheila Quinn, and Judy (Mike) Robertson. Sister-n-law: Marsha (Harlan) Sanders, all of Southisde.
Grandchildren: Jordan Rich, Alex Rich, Michael Rich, Jr., Brandi Rich, Tytan Rich, Noah Phillips, and Lexi Williams; several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Lawley Premier Hospice Care, Dr. Jason Ayres, Dave Roberts (Chaplain), Nurses: Glenda Lemaster, Candace Harwood, Kelly Rampy, Jinell Mink and care-giver, Pat Witt.
Pallbearers will be Harlan Sanders, Scott Mayo, Bobby Ruple, Harold Abernathy, Chad Quinn and Jeff Rich.
The family will receive friends for 6:00-8:00 pm Friday, September 27, 2013 at the funeral home.
