Thank you!! to Doris, from his daughter Joyce Because of corona virus and other unforeseeable events, he did not get the send off he deserved, thank you for reaching out.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Benton. He was a good friend of mine and it has been a long time since I saw him but thought about him often. May his children find peace from the loss of a great man.

Willie was a good honest man. The Great Father above sent his beautiful angels to take Willie's soul spirit for everlasting peace. Thinking of you Willie, you will be remembered always. To all the family hope peace follows your hearts for all days to come.

From Willie s daughter, Joyce. MISS YOU!!!!!

Willie Benton Nappier, born to Willie Washington Nappier
and Edna Yancey July 4th 1932. This was their 1st child of Five, Eunice, Madge, Evelyn, Legrant, Winfrey (Wint). Sadly Madge is the only survivor and she lost Rufus a couple of yrs ago and her health is not so good. SO MY MESSAGE IS: BE GOOD TO MADGE AND SHOW YOUR LOVE. That is what Willie would want firstly, then he would want everyone of you to mourn him and Move On With No Regrets. Life is a gift, enjoy it don't waste it on the past, remember the serenity prayer and I will see you on the other side. I love you all and I feel your love because love is an energy and energy never dies, it only changes as the butterfly does. God bless you all and please be good to each other and show your love to one another while your on Earth. LOVE, WILLIE (WRITTEN BY HIS DAUGHTER, JOYCE WHO LOVED AND RESPECTED this man like no other!!!
