

Funeral services will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Wylodean “Dean” J. Curl, 81, of Gadsden, who passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013. Rev. Lynn Dimon will officiate. Burial will be at Williams-Southside Memorial Park. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Service is directing.
Mrs. Curl was born and raised in Killen, AL. She was a nurse at Holy Name of Jesus Hospital. She was also a partner and instructor of Keevil-Curl School of Beauty for many years. After retirement she owned and operated Dean’s Styling. She was a member of Rainbow City First United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edsel Curl, and son Phillip Curl.
She is survived by her son, David (Jennifer) Curl; daughter, Connie (John) Hammond; daughter-in-law, Vickie Curl; grandchildren: Matthew Curl, Amy Curl, Allie Curl, Kaitlin Curl, and William Curl.
Pallbearers will be: Matthew Curl, William Curl, Reagan Curl, Gregory Curl, John Hammond, and Keith Gibson.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Rainbow City First United Methodist Church.
The family would like to thank the staff of the 3rd floor MICU at Gadsden Regional Medical Center for their compassion and care during her illness.
Family will accept friends from 10:30-12:30 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2013 prior to the service.
