She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Scott Burkhart; children, Noah and Maggie Burkhart; her mother, Patricia Tippett; brother Timothy (wife, Melissa) Tippett; nephews, Mason, Gavin and Parker; along with many other nieces, nephews and friends.
Amey was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Tippett; paternal grandparents, James and Mary Tippett; maternal grandparents, Vince and June Foresta and mother and father-in-law, Margaret and Thomas Burkhart.
Amey was a member of St. Josephine Bakhita Catholic Church and BREAD (for social Justice). She loved to read, traveling and going on cruises but especially spending time with family and friends, including beloved pets, Thor and Zooey.
