Andrew George Potts

Andrew G. Potts, age 37, of Gahanna, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on April 17, 2022. He was born May 13, 1984 in Lorain, Ohio and attended Southview High School and Gahanna-Lincoln High School. Andy enjoyed working in furniture installation with Advanced Office Systems and Inks Builders where he made a lot of friends. More recently he was working for Rumpke. He loved being outdoors where he could connect with nature, sketching and drawing, and working on projects. Friendships were very important to Andy. He tried to stay in contact with childhood friends as well as so many that he met throughout the years. He will be remembered as a compassionate and giving young man with a huge heart. He is survived by his father Carl G. Potts; mother Mary L. Potts; brother Joseph A. Potts; maternal grandfather Charles Orozco Sr.; special nephew and best buddy Adryean Potts; many aunts, uncles, cousins and his beloved dogs, Tank and Diamond. Andy was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents George and Norma (Morano) Potts; maternal grandmother Marlee Orozco and uncle Michael Orozco. Family will welcome friends 1-3pm Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Schoedinger Northeast Funeral Home, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, OH 43230.
