

Annabelle L. Perdue – Mastel age 99 of Gahanna, Ohio passed away peacefully at home on 14 July 2023 starting her eternal journey as an angel. She was born Annabelle L. Bowman at home close to Plain City Ohio on 25 August 1923. She graduated from Hilliard High School in the class of 1942. She was employed by The State of Ohio, The King Avenue United Methodist Church and retired from Continental Casualty/Lowes Insurance Company.
Annabelle was preceded in death by her loving parents Howard D. and Maye D. Bowman of Plain City, Ohio, her brothers William Bowman of Deshler, Ohio and Thomas Bowman of Plain City. Ohio, her husband Clyde E. Perdue of Gahanna, Ohio, her husband Dr. Michael M. Mastel of Gahanna, her Daughter-in-Law Mary E Perdue of Gahanna, Ohio and life long close friend Delores Walker of Columbus, Ohio.
Annabelle is survived by her son Marc D. Perdue of Gahanna, Ohio, Stepson James Mastel (Marcia) of Houston, Texas, Bonus grandchildren David A. Pond (Krisha) of Dallas, Texas, Lisa A. Kelley (Robert) of Mount Gilead, Ohio, Great grandchildren Robert B. Kelley of Gahanna, Ohio, Victoria A. Kelley of Gahanna, Ohio, Great-great grandchildren Tegan and Taryn Kelley of Gahanna, Ohio, nieces and nephews and very dear friend Beverly Plants of Mount Vernon, Ohio.
Annabelle was an outstanding seamstress, artist and Master Doll Maker working with ceramics and porcelain. In years past, she enjoyed garage sales, the comradery of other doll makers, cooking, 1940’s Swing music and her home in Gahanna. She pretty-well mastered anything she attempted.
Annabelle will be greatly missed until we can reunite again with her in heaven.
Visitation will be 6-7 pm Friday, July 21, 2023 at Schoedinger Northeast, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, Ohio, 43230. A Graveside Service will be held 1:30 pm Monday, July 24, 2023 at Forest Grove Cemetery, Plain City. Family requests no flowers.
